"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens." — Ecclesiastes 3:1
Let's be honest... most of us don't like to wait. We live in a world of instant downloads, same-day delivery, and quick answers. But God's Kingdom doesn't operate on our schedule. His timing is always intentional, and it's always perfect."

Ecclesiastes reminds us: "There is a time for everything" and every season has a purpose.
That means every season of life has value. There are seasons of planting, growing, waiting, harvesting, celebrating, healing, and learning. Not every season looks the same, but every season has a purpose. The mistake we often make is comparing our current season to someone else's. God isn't asking you to live someone else's story—He's writing yours.
One of the hardest lessons in faith is realizing that waiting doesn't mean God isn't working, oftentimes, delays are not denials. Sometimes we think: "God must have forgotten me." "Maybe I misunderstood His promise." or "Maybe it just isn't going to happen." But often, God is doing His greatest work behind the scenes.

Think about biblical examples:
Joseph waited years before becoming second in command in Egypt.
David was anointed king long before he wore the crown.
Abraham and Sarah waited decades for the promised son.
Even Jesus spent years preparing before beginning His public ministry.
The waiting wasn't wasted, it was preparation.

The thing is God is preparing more than the promise. Sometimes we're so focused on what we're waiting for that we miss what God is doing in us.
While you're waiting, God may be building your character, strengthening your faith, teaching patience, developing wisdom, preparing you for responsibilities you couldn't yet handle or all of the above. If God answered every prayer the moment we prayed it, we might not be ready to steward the blessing. His preparation is part of His promise.
You have to trust God's calendar more than your clock.
 
We often ask: "God, when?" God often responds: "Trust Me."
His timing isn't based on our deadlines. It's based on His perfect knowledge. He sees what we can't see. He knows who we'll become. He understands the ripple effect of every decision and every delay. What feels late to us is never late to Him.

Ask yourself:
Am I frustrated because God's timing doesn't match mine? Have I mistaken waiting for God's absence? What might God be developing in me during this season?
Instead of asking, "Why am I waiting?" Try asking, "Lord, what are You teaching me while I wait?" That question changes everything.

Heavenly Father,
I pray that I would be able to truly in Your timing for my life. I need patience and endurance to wait on the good things that I know You have for me. 
I don't want to rush past the season of preparation, so I ask for you to please help me worship in the waiting and trust You to do what only You
can do. Develop in me in all the ways for what I will need for the next season You are preparing me for.
I ask this all in the name of Jesus,
