You Are Not In Control

Dwell – Have you ever made plans, only to watch them fall apart? What felt like rejection or failure in the moment sometimes turns out to be something entirely different—God’s hand of favor and protection at work.I recently spoke with someone whose mother worked in the North Tower of the World Trade Center. On the morning of 9/11, a subway delay made her late for work. When she finally arrived, she was told to take the day off. What initially felt like inconvenience or even discipline became overwhelming provision and protection as tragedy struck.Moments like these remind us: we may make plans, but God is ultimately in control. Our job is to seek His will in our decisions and trust His sovereignty, even when things don’t go our way.
Pray – “”Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
If Jesus is Lord of your life, then you are not the one in control—and that’s a good thing.”
